“It is highly charged, wonderfully high-octane exhibitionistic fun, an entertaining sugar rush for all involved." - Seona Mac Reamoinn, The Irish Times

John Scott’s internationally-acclaimed company Irish Modern Dance Theatre returns to New York with its explosive new piece HYPERACTIVE following The White Piece (2013) and Fall and Recover (2011). HYPERACTIVE, commissioned by Galway Arts Festival and performed at Dublin Dance Festival, is hugely athletic, funny and exciting, featuring a cast of five outstanding male dancers, whose backgrounds range from Broadway to theatre to street dance. Stretching horseplay and dance to the limit, come and see them perform this human dance installation with plenty of humor and lots of personality!

Irish Modern Dance Theatre’s performances are supported by Culture Ireland. Irish Modern Dance Theatre is funded by the Arts Council of Ireland, Culture Ireland and Dublin City Council.
