IRISH ARTS CENTER (Producer) Since 1972, the Irish Arts Center has been the primary home for Irish arts and culture in New York.  Located in the heart of Manhattan’s historic “Hell’s Kitchen,” The Irish Arts Center is one of the largest and most inclusive Irish cultural organizations in the United States.  More than 35,000 people of all ages and ethnicities participated directly in Irish Arts Center programs in 2006, plus many more through print and broadcast media coverage of our theatrical and musical engagements, education programs, festivals, and special events. The Center provides a home for established Irish artists and performers to reach – and build – a New York audience, providing a welcome opportunity for Irish and non-Irish alike to enjoy authentic, first-class Irish entertainment. For 35 years, the Center has offered a cultural home away from home for such cultural luminaries as Robert Ballagh, Marie Jones, Jimmy Murphy, Mark O’Rowe, Ronnie Drew, Mike Hanrahan, The Chieftains, The Nualas, Mícheál Ó Súilleabháin, Eamonn O’Doherty, Donal O’Kelly, John F. Kennedy, Jr., Milo O’Shea, Jim Sheridan, Gabriel Byrne, Liam Neeson and many, many more.

GEORGANNE ALDRICH HELLER (Producer) began her career as a publicist, heading her own company that handled Cal Arts University and the Burbank Studios in Los Angeles, along with other major accounts. She also served for five years as Cultural Director of the Borough of Manhattan.  As producer, her theatre credits include Rock Doves and A Night in November at Irish Arts Center and Douglas Fairbanks Theatre; Samuel Beckett’s Molloy; Remembrance (starring Milo O’Shea and Frances Sternhagen); Frank McCourt’s Limerick On My Mind; The Nualas; and Red Roses and Petrol with Frank McCourt.  Recent productions include Kings of the Kilburn High Road at the Irish Arts Centre;  Conor McPherson’s The Good Thief in Waterford, Ireland; Belfast Blues starring Geraldine Hughes in Belfast, Northern Ireland and London’s West End; and Mark O’ Rowe’s Howie The Rookie at the Irish Arts Center.  Associate producer credits include Kenneth Branagh’s Public Enemy (at the Irish Arts Center, Court Theatre Los Angeles, Andrew’s Lane Theatre, Dublin) and Peter Sheridan’s, Mother Of All The Behans starring Rosaleen Linehan.  For television, she produced A Whole New You, a woman’s magazine format show for two seasons on Lifetime Television.  Her first feature film, Red Roses and Petrol, starring Malcolm McDowell, was released this year.  Georganne is co-founder of the Daedalus Theatre Company and Women in Film.  She is a member of the Ireland-US Council, the Irish Arts Center advisory board, and Club 100 of the Music Centre in Los Angeles, and the Gramercy Arts Club, and is a trustee of the Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art.

SEMPER FI (Ireland) Formed in November 1999, Semper Fi’s purpose is to create significant and hopefully profound theatre out of unexpected tales, dangerous texts, within site-specific locations. The company further hopes to energize the process of making theatre and art by challenging fellow artists to work in new and potentially demanding ways. By moving the safety net of established parameters, Semper Fi (Ireland) aims to make theatre bold, at times spontaneous and fun, at others dark and disturbing.
