“Funny, warm, and well produced, with a rousing finale that’s enough to make you kick up your own heels.” - Irish Theatre Magazine

A new show about dancing and music and love and not settling and feeling like an eejit and being brave and having doubts and trying your best and trying new things and thinking outside the box and seeing things clearly and living as well as you can and giving it a lash.
From the eternal optimist recovering from his business failure; the dance teachers who have fallen out of step; the young Cork girl looking for love; the country man who cant dance without counting; the teenage lovebirds…in their sixties; to the woman who needs to start doo-de-doo-ing again, the one thing they all have in common is that they are here to dance.
Direct from the Dublin Fringe Festival, in association with Fishamble: The New Play Company (last at IAC with Silent and Forgotten), Swing is a delightful new show that explores the blossoming of a friendship even in hard economic times.Featuring Janet Moran (The Butcher Boy, Breakfast on Pluto) and Steve Blount (Breakfast on Pluto, Game of Thrones), Swing comes complete with rock and roll music. It will make you want to dance!

Beowulf: The Blockbuster
Written and Performed by Bryan Burroughs
Developed and directed by David Horan

A father’s final chance to connect with his son. A boy with a film-soaked imagination. A cinematic journey through an ancient tale, brought to vivid life in this one-man stage phenomenon.

Featuring Spielbergian monsters, John Williams theme tunes and the original superhero; this is physical, comic and vibrant theatre from one of Ireland’s most skilled performers. Hit of the Dublin Fringe Festival 2013, Beowulf: The Blockbuster was hailed as an instant classic.
Swing and Beowulf: The Blockbuster, have been developed as part of Show in a Bag, an artist development initiative of Fishamble: The New Play Company, Dublin Fringe Festival, and Irish Theatre Institute.
