“The smells and sounds of the Big Apple ooze through…with a slightly Irish flavor.” – The Village Voice

“Great songs…some reminiscent of a Paul Simon feel and some of an Elliott Smith conviction.” – XM RADIO

Originally from Killarney, singer-songwriter Brendan O’Shea (SongLives 2012) is a staple in the East Village Indie-folk scene. A founding member of Fairplay Collective and co-host of the Scratcher Sessions in the East Village, he has released three albums which have garnered praise from critics and press around the world.  His work has appeared on ABC, MTV and the Academy Award nominated film Backdraft and he’s shared the stage with the likes of The Frames, The Swell Season, Elliot Smith, Loudon Wainwright, and more.

In concert, Brendan will showcase tunes from his newest album, Mid-Atlantic Ghost, featuring a collection of songs written in and inspired by his home place connections, both here in the US and abroad.
