"Irish traditional music's own 'power trio.' These three mean business and achieve art. Bravo."
- Earle Hitchner, Wall Street Journal and Irish Echo

“Genius is an overused word, but it sits lightly on the shoulders of Galwegian accordionist and tune composer Máirtín O’Connor...O’Connor’s style is as distinctive as a fingerprint, and his cache of original compositions along with his store of traditional tunes would offer a lifetime of listening to anyone with an ear cocked for the music.”The Irish Times

A rare chance to see one of Irish music's supreme trios playing their trade.

Legendary accordion player Máirtín O’Connor, a primary musical force behind Riverdance, is one of the most respected and best loved musicians ever to emerge from Ireland. He is joined by the astonishing fiddler and multi-all Ireland winner Cathal Hayden (Four Men and a Dog), and Séamie O’Dowd, a defining member of Dervish for over a decade, and master guitarist and singer-songwriter.

Individually recognized figureheads of the Irish tradition, the Máirtín O’Connor Trio has built a reputation for their astounding virtuosity and vitality. The trio has toured the U.S. for three seasons (2012-2014) with Masters of Tradition, an acclaimed ensemble curated by fiddler Martin Hayes.
