Widely regarded by fellow authors, critics and readers as one of the most artistic and finest writers of modern American fiction, PEN/Malamud and PEN/Faulkner Award-winner James Salter joins Frank Delaney in what will be an insightful and lively discussion about his celebrated writing career. Audiences will get a chance to engage with the writer of “some of the most esteemed fiction of the past three decades” (Publisher’s Weekly) - discussing his highly admired 2013 novel All That Is following the loves and losses of a World War II veteran, his many short story collections, his novels including the career-changing A Sport and a Pastime, his screenplays, life in the military, and more.
