 Favorite Poems is presented in association with Poetry Society of America and Poetry Ireland

Irish Arts Center and St. Ann’s Warehouse are honored to present a very special evening of Favorite Poems in tribute to the Irish poet, playwright and Nobel laureate Seamus Heaney. Seamus was deeply beloved by those who encountered him both on the page and in person. Please join poets and artists from Ireland and America who will honor one of the most important poets of the 20th and 21st centuries by reading from Seamus’ vast works.

Participants include actor Gabriel Byrne, playwright Enda Walsh, authors Alice McDermott, Colum McCann and Kevin Holohan, and poets Colette Bryce, Henri Cole, Mark Doty, Paul Muldoon, Nuala Ní Dhomhnaill, Marie Howe, Nick Laird, Conor O'Callaghan, Meghan O'Rourke, Elise Paschen, Matthew Sweeney, and Craig Morgan Teicher.
