Richard Ford & Lorrie Moore

Thursday, February 12 | 8 pm

In our third collaboration with 92Y Unterberg Poetry Center, we are thrilled to announce four evenings with contemporary authors.

At 92Y | Kaufmann Concert Hall
Lexington Avenue at 92nd Street
New York, NY

“[Ford has] forged a new way of writing fiction about, and out of, American life that is as revolutionary as Proust’s adventures in time travel.” - John Banville

“[Moore’s work] still dazzles…For all their genuine sadness and existential angst, these powerfully, almost savagely, human stories shine with a spirit of playfulness and the logic of love.” - Bonnie Jo Campbell

Join us as two of America’s most admired writers read from their new collections. In Let Me Be Frank with You, Pulitzer Prize-winning author Richard Ford reinvents his beloved character, Frank Bascombe, in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. Lorrie Moore’s recent collection of stories is Bark. In these eight masterful stories Moore explores the passage of time, summoning up its inevitable sorrows and comic pitfalls.
