Using Irish stories as inspiration, local 4th graders will transform the IAC gallery under the direction of Brooklyn-based artist Pamella Allen. They will create lively mixed-medium diorama sculptures to explore the trickster characters in mythology and folktales and illustrate the story of Daniel O’Rourke and the Irish púcas. The immersive and interactive project will bring to life Ireland’s rich arts and culture and turn the Irish Arts Center Gallery into a storyboard, whisking visitors from a small brook to the moon and then to the sea.

Presented in association with our neighbors at Police Athletic League William J. Duncan Center.
